We have noticed that bridal makeovers through plastic surgery are becoming more and more popular these days. This is no doubt influenced by the television show Bridalplasty and other media coverage. There are specific procedures that can help you look your best on your wedding day and honeymoon. In this blog, we will discuss facial bridal makeovers.

Many of us do not like our picture taken from certain angles. Usually people dislike their profile shots the most. This may be due to a hump on the top of the nose, making it look harsh and non-feminine, or it may be insecurity over a weak chin. Both problems can be improved with cosmetic surgery. Nose reshaping (rhinoplasty) can improve the contour of the nose. This is an extremely powerful procedure, and it can improve the balance of the face greatly. A weak chin can be improved with a chin implant, adding more structure to the chin and lower jaw area. Each procedure can improve the attractiveness of the face. Nose reshaping and chin implants are frequently performed together to create maximum improvement. Another area of concern for many women is lack of fullness in the lips. Full lips look feminine and youthful. Recovery is an important concern. You do not want to time things too close to your special day. Ideally, you should have nose reshaping (rhinoplasty) and chin implants at least 2-3 months before your wedding to allow your final shape to be most apparent. Six weeks would be the absolute minimum. Filler injections should be performed at least 2 weeks before to allow resolution of any bruising or swelling if it occurs.
